On April 26, 2025, the closing event of our Value of Waste project took place in Zagreb, at Mocvara Club, along the Sava river.
Although it was pouring rain, many people came, and we crowned our beloved project with an event of fantastic atmosphere!
Throughout the day, various local green civil organizations introduced themselves, and there were workshops on plastic recycling and bicycle repair, a seed swap, seedling planting, fermentation, food waste rescue, an exhibition from our magazine, opportunities to learn about composting and seasonal foods, a sewing corner where you could repair clothes, sew shopping bags from old umbrellas, swap clothes, make flowerbed markers, play the "Untangled Textile" game, and of course, we debuted the Be the Change board game, which was a huge success!
We offered delicious vegan snacks to go along with everything.
The atmosphere of the event faithfully reflected the spirit of the whole project: everyone was open, friendly, and poured their love and creativity into it!
We hope there will be a continuation.
